Ask Sarita: Healing Rage

Sarita loves to answer your questions, so if there’s something you’d like her advice on, please email her and let her know if you are happy for it to be published (you can remain anonymous). Here she answers a question on healing deep rage.

Beloved Sarita,

I have touched inside me deep rage and condemnation towards men for all pleasure they can get and pain they can give. I can scream in Dynamic Meditation and it goes for a while then I see other men playing with women, lying, seducing and all condemnation comes back. And even if consciously I love man, this feeling, scratching me from the inside. It goes on and on and I am tired of it. I noticed that it did not allow me to open more for men, to be more receptive. It narrows my relating with men and my partner. How to transform this condemnation? Is it something collective or my individual stuff to be tackled?

Love and Peace

Hello Shanti,

It is interesting that your name means peace.

The issue with men is collective and also personal. In general, women carry a certain mistrust of men since men have behaved in very violent ways towards women for a long time, such as during war, etc. You may be carrying a karmic imprint regarding this, or an ancestral memory, or a childhood trauma connected to it. You will need to receive healing and to learn how to let go of it and find inner peace regarding men, otherwise it is difficult to find wholeness within yourself. The journey appears long, but it is well worth the trouble and time. To support the healing of this issue, I would recommend Colour Light Therapy, Family Constellation and or The Journey work. As you go deeply into healing, eventually you will discover compassion, which is so liberating.
